Episode 18 — The Morning After

NEXT MORNING — MAIN VILLA

The villa woke up unusually quiet.

No loud teasing.
No morning chaos.

Because everyone still remembered last night.

Yogesh choosing Ruru.
Akanksha smiling through heartbreak.
Sunny hugging her while she silently broke down.

And honestly?

Nobody knew how to act around them anymore.

AKANKSHA — INNER POV

The worst part wasn’t crying.

The worst part was waking up and realizing it actually happened.

He really chose someone else.

KITCHEN SCENE

Akanksha stood making coffee quietly.

Eyes swollen slightly.

Expression calm.

Too calm.

Meanwhile—

Yogesh entered the kitchen slowly.

The second he saw her—

His chest tightened painfully.

Because she didn’t even look at him.

Not once.

YOGESH

Yogesh softly:
Akanksha—

She interrupted immediately.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha calmly:
Coffee chahiye?

That hurt him more than anger would’ve.

Because her voice sounded polite.

Distant.

Like strangers.

YOGESH — INNER POV

Why does this feel worse than fighting?

THE FIRST ARGUMENT

Yogesh stepped closer carefully.

YOGESH

Yogesh quietly:
Can we talk properly?

Akanksha laughed softly.

Not happily.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha:
About what exactly?

Silence.

Because honestly—

What was there left to say?

AKANKSHA

Akanksha quietly:
You already gave your clarity yesterday.

Yogesh ran a hand through his hair frustrated.

YOGESH

Yogesh:
It wasn’t that simple.

Wrong answer.

Very wrong answer.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha hurt now:
Then why say it?

Her eyes finally met his.

Red again.

And Yogesh immediately looked guilty.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha:
You said you loved her in front of everyone.

Do you know how humiliating that felt after everything between us?

The kitchen became painfully silent.

Because there was no defense against that.

YOGESH TRIES TO EXPLAIN

YOGESH

Yogesh frustrated softly:
I was under pressure.
Everything got messed up.

Akanksha shook her head instantly.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha:
No Yogesh.

You don’t accidentally say “I love you” to someone.

That sentence hit hard.

Because deep down—

He knew she was right.

OUTSIDE — VILLA REACTION

Meanwhile the contestants watched the argument nervously from outside.

GIRL

Girl whispering:
This is actually painful to watch.

BOY

Boy:
Bro looks miserable too though.

And honestly?

He did.

Because despite choosing Ruru—

Yogesh couldn’t stop looking destroyed seeing Akanksha like this.

RURU ENTERS

Unfortunately—

Ruru walked into the kitchen at the worst possible moment.

And immediately sensed tension.

RURU

Ruru softly:
Everything okay?

Akanksha smiled politely instantly.

That fake polite smile that hurt more than crying.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha:
Yeah. Your boyfriend was just leaving.

The sentence sliced through the room.

Even Ruru looked uncomfortable.

And Yogesh?

Completely shattered internally.

Because hearing Akanksha call him someone else’s felt horribly wrong.

THE REAL FIGHT

Later that afternoon—

Things exploded properly during group discussions.

One contestant accidentally joked:

BOY

Boy:
Yogesh bhai fumbled the bag.

The villa laughed awkwardly.

But Akanksha suddenly stood up.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha quietly:
Can everyone stop making jokes about this?

The room went silent instantly.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha emotional now:
I genuinely cared about someone here.
This wasn’t entertainment for me.

And suddenly—

The villa understood the depth of it again.

YOGESH — INNER POV

Every time she spoke now—

He realized more and more how deeply he’d hurt her.

And the terrifying part?

Choosing Ruru didn’t make him feel relieved.

It made him feel empty.

NIGHT — TERRACE

Akanksha sat alone crying quietly near the terrace railing later that night.

Trying hard not to break again.

Footsteps approached eventually.

Of course.

Yogesh.

YOGESH

Yogesh softly:
I hate seeing you like this.

Akanksha wiped her tears quickly.

AKANKSHA

Akanksha quietly:
Then you shouldn’t have done this to me.

Silence.

Cold silence.

The kind where both people still love each other…

But one is too hurt to trust it anymore.

YOGESH — INNER POV

For the first time since entering the villa—

He realized love alone might not fix the damage anymore.

END SCENE

As Yogesh stood there helplessly watching her cry—

Akanksha looked away toward the city lights.

Because somewhere deep down—

She was starting to understand something heartbreaking.

Sometimes people can love you…

And still choose someone else.
